“Excellent location and proximity to subway lines 1 and 2. I took the subway from the airport and was surprised how convenient - one transfer and I was within about a block and a half from the hotel. Very safe area and places to eat very close by. I goofed up my reservation and was 1 day later than I reserved, essentially canceling the reservation. The manger corrected it promptly and I was given a wonderful view on the 18th floor. The staff each morning at breakfast welcomed me, asking good questions about food/service and helped me plan my day. I will stay at this property without question when I return to Beijing”

“Pros:
Bar was quite nice with great views over city wall
Rooms were ok
Cons:
Location. While it's relatively central- it's considered to be on the wrong side of a fairly busy road so getting to the subway station or shops is a pain. In this aspect the St Regis is a lot better.
Breakfast: Sure, there's an ice cream booth but I don't have a sweet tooth and pretty much everything else was mediocre at best.”
